The young quartermaster didn't even blink as she leaned in. He was used to this sort of thing after all. Not just from Bond, but all the double-o's and agents he worked with. They all had their own methods and tastes, but they were all similar in some regards. They all had a way of getting just a bit too close, and always looking terribly sure of themselves.

Q may have been little more than a boffin, but you couldn't work around those sorts of people without quickly adapting to their behaviour. Learning what to ignore and when to react. ...How to manage that behaviour even, in some cases.

"True, though I imagine the knife nestled in your brassiere makes for better defence than your teeth," he noted, as though there was nothing odd or alarming about that at all.
