It's About Balance - OTA
His new show had finally been announced, and he'd done a small round of press this morning. Radio, mostly. Just little interviews, mostly about his return to telly and the fact that he was starring in the reboot of a classic and beloved show. Nothing taxing, nothing thrilling. Just boring media- The side of the job Fin sort of wished he could skip. He managed to be his charming self though, deflecting when the questions got too personal, all while flirting shamelessly with a few of the interviewers. The public loved that, he'd found, and he wasn't shy about playing it up.
Mid-day found him wandering Covent Garden, two small shopping bags in one hand, Starbucks in the other. He was clean shaven, and his hair was getting a bit ridiculous again, just touching his shoulders as he walked, and occasionally getting in his face when he stopped to peek in shop windows. All and all, a dreadfully normal day. ...At least, it had been.
He'd been having little pains lately, ever since New Years. Nothing dreadful, but... Discomfort that was a bit too familiar. If felt like... It felt like his heart. Though it couldn't be, could it? Not now. not with his enchanted heart and fae blood. It had to be something mundane. Heartburn, perhaps. Something innocent.
That's what he kept telling himself- Even now when the pain returned. It was sudden and sharp, enough that he dropped his shopping and doubled over slightly, holding his chest and panicking a bit. He couldn't go to the hospital, couldn't risk them checking his blood... He had to do something though, and he pulled out his phone. Hand shaking, he wasn't sure which number he'd called. Wasn't even sure he'd managed to make a call.
(OTA- If you're friends with Fin, feel free to assume he called you! He's not well and could have easily called anyone in his contacts. ;) If you don't know Fin or your pup wouldn't be reachable for whatever reason, feel free to simply be in the right place at the right time. LT/ST very welcome. <3)

Will slipped out of his clothes and found no shame in being nude. It was a bit cold in the room, though, and so he burrowed in under the covers, his face on the pillow right next to Fin.
"Sleepy fox," he said with a soft smile. "Rest. I will be right here."

Willy kept a hand on him, stroking him slowly. Soon enough his hand stilled as he drifted off, too. He slept lightly, though, keen on all the little noises Fin made.

Fin slept for a solid hour, yawning softly when he woke, and then slowly wriggling out from Will's hand so he could stretch out and lay beside him as he shifted back into his human form.
Still tired, he toed his shoes off as quietly as he was able, then moved to get beneath the covers.

Willy woke but did not move. Not even a twitch. Not until Fin was settled under the blankets. Then was when he slipped his arm around him and bent closer to kiss him softly.
"How do you feel?" he asked.

"Good. Very good. Now that you are feeling better...perhaps we should seek someone who knows about the heart you have now," he suggested.
no subject
"Like who?" Fin asked, his hand moving to rest on the other fae's hip, thumb tracing invisible circles against warm skin.

Willy thought for a long moment.
"Perhaps the wizard's apprentice?" he suggested.

"Then here is where you shall remain," he replied, a gentle smile on his lips even when he kissed Fin again.

"I love you. You'll take care of me, right? No matter what happens..."
no subject
"No matter what happens. Always. Forever," he whispered against Fin's lips, tasting him again and again until his tongue was begging for more.

"I will not let death touch you so long as I am able," he promised, enough magic shivering around them to bind the promise tightly.
no subject
"I know. I believe you."

Willy held him tight, kisses falling against his lips, but his fine cheek bones and his brows as well.
"You are safe, Fin. You will be well. I would give my life for you to be well."

"I am calm," he insisted. "I only fear...I cannot be without you, Fin. You must be in this world."

Willy would never admit to being scared, though he was. It wasn't even deep. He carried fear close to the skin just waiting for something to happen to Fin and open a wound that would not heal.
Rather than answer Fin he kissed him again, pouring into it all his love, all his care.

Like this it was easy to forget about the pain he'd felt earlier, and the frightening possibilities of what it might mean.

The heat of the kiss shot through him and had him squirming to get closer, rutting for the blessed friction of it. But all he wanted was for Fin to keep close. To hold tight. He kissed him deeply, content to snog the entire night away so long as it meant he had Fin's body tight against his.
