Winter wanted to hide, he did, and being given permission to made it so it would have been easy to vanish into a tree or something. ...But pixie were born to aid in battle. The fae had dragged them into fight after fight since the dawn of time, to the point it was ingrained in them.

Winter didn't want to fight, but his dagger was already stained and the creatures were coming from everywhere. He had to stay and persevere. His blood would allow nothing else. Working on instinct, the pixie froze one as it charged towards him, then another, before a third charged towards him, forcing him to dip out of the way. he wasn't fierce, wasn't even that effective, but he didn't cower and he made sure not to be in the way.

A good pixie, selfless despite a looming threat.
