General Halloween GP
Halloween was as spooky or dull as you needed it to be in London. From handing out treats to those who came knocking, to attending costume parties and concerts all over the city, there was something for everyone tonight.
Plenty of bars and clubs were offering discounts to anyone bold enough to turn up in costume, and even the underground was bursting with holiday cheer as costumed commuters came and went, breaking up the dull day to day routine one usually faced while making your way from point a to point b.
Even those who chose to skip the costume were indulging in treats or maybe a creepy film or two.
There was no excuse to be bored. Not tonight. Not on Halloween.
(General Halloween GP for those who aren't keen on the haunted house! Feel free to post your pup anywhere in the city, from fancy dress parties to street corners. Go wild (or, you know, stay tame. Your call) Also, because there are two GPs going up this week, both are open to new top levels for two whole weeks! And, of course, you can keep tagging long after that if you want. :D I'll post reminders daily on slack.)

"No," he replied, glancing around quickly to make sure there weren't any humans around to overhear Winter using words like 'pixie'. He dropped his voice a little, then said, "I'm only part pixie."

Manuel hesitated, unsure how else to explain it. "...I mean one of my mother's parents was a pixie."
no subject
"You are mortal then?" he asked, still a bit puzzled as he poked Manuel's arm- As if jabbing the other creature with his finger would somehow help him understand.
no subject
"No," he said. Though he was, technically, but he felt like mentioning that would just confuse Winter even more. "My father was. My mother wasn't."
no subject
"Halfling?" he said.

"Please give me five pounds," he chirped.
The stranger looked baffled, but Winter smiled, and they shrugged, suddenly feeling charitable with just a bit of pixie magic urging them on.
"Here you are," the stranger said, handing over a five pound note, then walking away.
Winter beamed, then started to tug Manuel towards the cafe.

Grinning at the man behind the cash register, he put his money down. Two large hot chocolates, extra cream! ...Oh! And two of those pastries that look like bear faces. They are cute, I want to bite it."
The man shrugged, taking Winter's money and gesturing for the pair to wait at the end of the counter.

Winter cocked his head, studying his new friend, then shrugged.
Their hot chocolate and sweets arrived, and Winter grinned widely as he took his.
"Sweets!" he grinned.

Winter hummed a little, then nodded, carrying his things over to the first empty table he spotted.
The little bear shaped pastry sat on the table in front of him, and he growled at it before taking a huge bite.

The greedy part of him wanted to keep it- But Winter was a good pixie really, and he nudged it instead towards his new friend.

Winter made a happy noise in agreement, finishing his and then sipping his chocolate.
"I should head home soon. I'm here to surprise my brothers. Did I tell you that? I forget. It's why I'm here though, in London. I am visiting my kin. They will be so pleased to see me! Maybe I'll get presents!"

He was really asking if Winter had come from Faerie. Though whether the other pixie would pick up on the hidden meaning was another thing.
