Gathering Post - Christmas Eve Party
Look forward to: A live DJ, live music, an appearance by Santa, gift bags with deluxe swag, and the company of old and new friends!
"Very good to meet you as well," he said, polite and quite formal. "Do enjoy the party."
Jade rather loved that about Dutch. There weren't many people who knew that side of him, and Dutch being so nice about it, was just lovely. "Depends on the mood, doesn't it?" He said, but quickly ran over the comment. She wasn't in on the joke. Probably because she was serious about her girlfriend. "So, where did you meet her? Club?"
Hannibal easily spotted that lie. "You do know I'm a doctor?" He asked, by which he meant there was no point lying.
"Hard to imagine you can be tamed," Hannibal commented to that.
"Wouldn't quickly trade my tailor, no," Hannibal agreed. "And any woman who can combine the practical with the elegant, understands style. It's more about movement and posture, than garments."

"This crowd is drunk and wearing woolly jumpers," Hannibal retorted, though there was a hint of a smile on his lips, meaning he was joking.
Hannibal knew of only one creature that did not have a pulse. He was discrete, of course, about what he knew of vampires, but when a man had no pulse, he assumed he could talk of the supernatural. "Did that price involve being bitten?" He asked, curious.
A ghoul. Or something of the like. Hannibal had never heard of such creatures - but he couldn't feign surprise. Rather, it explained Finlay rather well. "There are worse diets to be put on." Rotting flesh would be the first there. "I did notice your usual scent was absent. Must be a psychological challenge; this change from human to something quite different."
"You've only plucked the fruits of your cure so far," Hannibal said, pleasant and pleased for his young friend, though with an air of warning. "That is fortunate."
