Merry Christmas!

You are invited to celebrate the season with Finlay Flynn and Willy Silver.

When: Christmas Eve (5pm – Midnight)

Where: Making the Modern World - The Science Museum

Upon entry you'll be given a ticket for one free drink. All drinks after that are 5 each. There will also be a free buffet in the dining area.

Dress code: Casual, but tidy please!

Raffle: Come wearing a festive sweater and you will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a 65 inch TV.

Donate: Bring three tins of canned food to be donated to the local food bank, and receive an extra drink ticket.

Look forward to: A live DJ, live music, an appearance by Santa, gift bags with deluxe swag, and the company of old and new friends!

(OTA! Happy holidays! If you know Fin, Willy, Phouka, or Winter, feel free to assume they gave you an invite. If not, you can say your pup got an invite through a friend of a friend, someone who knows someone, ect. It IS invite over (no gate crashing pups please, Fin's a giver and would want everyone to feel included), but the pups hosting the party are pretty active and I believe they know almost everyone in the game. And the people they don't know surely know people who do. Even if you only met them once, you got an invite somehow! This gathering post is open all week, and beyond!)

"Jade!" Dutch smiled at the sight of him, and patted his chest, over one of the 'ho's. "I see what you did there."

She hadn't seen him in a while - not since she'd started seeing Emma, actually, if you wanted to get technical about it - but she was still genuinely happy to find him here.

"I couldn't resist the pun," Jade said with a smile. It had been a while since they'd seen each other, but Jade hadn't really noticed the reason - if there was any. Though now that he saw her, he did notice he'd missed her. "It's been a while," he commented with a smile, putting a hand on her arm as he spoke.

"Yeah, it has," Dutch agreed with a fond smile, taking his hand and squeezing it. "How've you been?"

"Yeah, fine, fine," Jade replied. He was always fine. Even when he was not. "It's been ages since we went out, hasn't it?" Went out, did drugs, had sex.

"Few months, yeah," Dutch agreed. "I've - been seeing someone, recently. And you haven't rung," she added pointedly, but with a half smile.

"I don't ring," Jade argued. "I bump into you at all the good places." It was true he hadn't rung. It was also true he'd been getting his drugs from other people besides Dutch and those people sometimes took up his whole night as well. If it was a downward spiral, Jade hadn't noticed.

"But you got a... what, girlfriend?" Jade asked, with a smile. He did want her to have all the good things.

"We haven't called it that, but... yeah," Dutch confirmed with a grin. It was clear she was smitten, in just that smile. "Emma. She reads cards." Among other things with cards, but she wouldn't tell Jade what she could do any more than she would tell Emma what Jade could.

"Oh, nice," Jade said, though he would have said that regardless of Emma's profession. "I'd love to meet her. You know, if you're okay with that. Don't want to make anyone uncomfortable."

"If you mean me, I think I'll survive," Dutch stated, amused and in a good mood. She didn't think Emma would mind either, unless they made things awkward, and Dutch wasn't big on awkward. "She isn't here yet, but - are you sticking around?" For all she knew, he could be here for work.

"Yeah, I'm a guest," Jade said, not unproudly. "No work tonight, only play." He couldn't resist saying that with a glint in his eyes. Because, you know, if Dutch was game, he would always be game.

Dutch laughed at that, but didn't think to take it personally. "Then yeah, I'll track you down when she's here, make sure to introduce you."

"Should I change to the other me?" Jade continued teasing. "Want to make a good impression."

"Which you would make a better impression?" Dutch asked with a frown, clearly missing the joke. As far as she was concerned, Jade was always Jade.

Jade rather loved that about Dutch. There weren't many people who knew that side of him, and Dutch being so nice about it, was just lovely. "Depends on the mood, doesn't it?" He said, but quickly ran over the comment. She wasn't in on the joke. Probably because she was serious about her girlfriend. "So, where did you meet her? Club?"

"She saved me from a vamper, actually," Dutch answered with a wry twist of her lips.
