Gathering Post - Christmas Eve Party

Merry Christmas!

You are invited to celebrate the season with Finlay Flynn and Willy Silver.

 

When: Christmas Eve (5pm – Midnight)

Where: Making the Modern World - The Science Museum

Upon entry you'll be given a ticket for one free drink. All drinks after that are 5 each. There will also be a free buffet in the dining area.

 

Dress code: Casual, but tidy please!

 

Raffle: Come wearing a festive sweater and you will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a 65 inch TV.

 

Donate: Bring three tins of canned food to be donated to the local food bank, and receive an extra drink ticket.

Look forward to: A live DJ, live music, an appearance by Santa, gift bags with deluxe swag, and the company of old and new friends!

 

(OTA! Happy holidays! If you know Fin, Willy, Phouka, or Winter, feel free to assume they gave you an invite. If not, you can say your pup got an invite through a friend of a friend, someone who knows someone, ect. It IS invite over (no gate crashing pups please, Fin's a giver and would want everyone to feel included), but the pups hosting the party are pretty active and I believe they know almost everyone in the game. And the people they don't know surely know people who do. Even if you only met them once, you got an invite somehow! This gathering post is open all week, and beyond!)

"He's true to his nature," Em agreed, not discounting the warning, hinting she knew what he was.

"Mmm, quite a Tinkerbell," Fin agreed, looking at the pixie again and laughing when he realized he was now dancing with Stanley, who looked absolutely baffled by the youthful creature.

"Who was at least as dangerous as any Lost Boy." More than most, if Em remembered correctly. She followed Fin's gaze, shaking her head when she saw not only the pixie, but the perplexed look on the man with him's face. "Every one sees the world in their own way," she said, grateful for the moment Winter had found someone else to dance with, and hoping - but not risking saying so aloud - he didn't light on her next.

"Mmm. Yeah, if I wind up with an arrow through me, I think we'll know who to blame," Fin replied, frowning, but not looking terribly upset. Winter was frustrating, but Fin did love him. He was family now.

"Hopefully it won't come to that." Short of reaching for her cards, hoping was all she could do.

"I feel like I should warn you. I gave him some marshmallows, and the last time we talked I mentioned roasting them. He was very excited about the idea of setting them on fire, even though I tried explaining that wasn't the same."

"Oh? ...Oooh. Right, well- Hopefully we can convince him to try that in the garden," Fin laughed. "He's not very careful with- Well, anything. Not even himself."

Remembering both her meetings with the pixie, Em laughed too. "I'm not sure his kind have the concept of 'consequences'. At least not the way we understand them. I just hope I haven't inadvertently led to a conflagration."

"Oh, I'm sure Winter would have found a reason to set something on fire without your help," Fin laughed.

That wasn't particular reassuring, in Em's opinion. But at least she didn't live with Winter. She was happy living with a pyrokinetic who could handle any fires that threatened to get out of control.

"I'm sorry, I'm taking up all your time, when you have guests to visit with. I just, wanted to say hello, and thank you for having us all here tonight."

"You're not, it's fine- But you're welcome, and I do hope you have a good night," Fin smiled.

"It was nice meeting you, Fin." Any friend of Jag's had to be a good sort. "I hope the evening's everything you want it to be." She raised her glass to him, nodded, and thinking she should see what Dutch had gotten up to in her absence.
