Gathering Post - Christmas Eve Party

Merry Christmas!

You are invited to celebrate the season with Finlay Flynn and Willy Silver.

 

When: Christmas Eve (5pm – Midnight)

Where: Making the Modern World - The Science Museum

Upon entry you'll be given a ticket for one free drink. All drinks after that are 5 each. There will also be a free buffet in the dining area.

 

Dress code: Casual, but tidy please!

 

Raffle: Come wearing a festive sweater and you will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a 65 inch TV.

 

Donate: Bring three tins of canned food to be donated to the local food bank, and receive an extra drink ticket.

Look forward to: A live DJ, live music, an appearance by Santa, gift bags with deluxe swag, and the company of old and new friends!

 

(OTA! Happy holidays! If you know Fin, Willy, Phouka, or Winter, feel free to assume they gave you an invite. If not, you can say your pup got an invite through a friend of a friend, someone who knows someone, ect. It IS invite over (no gate crashing pups please, Fin's a giver and would want everyone to feel included), but the pups hosting the party are pretty active and I believe they know almost everyone in the game. And the people they don't know surely know people who do. Even if you only met them once, you got an invite somehow! This gathering post is open all week, and beyond!)

"What kind of music?" Jag asked curiously. He might try and stop by. He was going to have to fill his evenings with things not Val for a month, anyway.

As many times as Coby had had to answer that question, he had pat answers, but it could be kind of like describing himself, and worse when talking about the band as a whole. "Rock at its core," he said, "but it's more a fusion. We incorporate a lot of blues, country, funk, folk, even some traditional Irish-Scottish-whatever stuff." He chuckled. "Just don't tell Máire I described it that way. I'd wind up with her bow somewhere I don't want it."

Jag chuckled. "Sounds cool, though. I'll try and stop by, one of those Mondays."

"Cool. It's usually a good time." Not that Coby was biased or anything. "Reminds me of a couple of places I played back home. What's that song... Everybody sings and drinks and laughs and gets high," he sung, mostly to himself.

Jag chuckled. "That sounds like a good time."

"It's my kind of place," Coby agreed. There wasn't much more he wanted out of life. Not that he could have in public anyway. "No amazing and free buffet, though."

"It would be less amazing if it was more common, yeah?" Jag pointed out with a half smile, and flicked his cigarette butt into an ashtray.

"True." Coby took the last drag from his cigarette, then his butt followed Jag's. "I'm thinking I should check out the desserts, and see where my friend's gotten off to." Anael was better than any dessert, but Coby could imagine creative ways of enjoying them both at the same time.

"And I'll try and track down Fin, if he's not too busy," Jag stated with a small smile. "I might see you at Scandals, then."
