Re: Wednesday Night
"And this is why you're the genius," Bond chuckled. "Run the taps, I'll be the muscle and open the wine."
Re: Wednesday Night
Pulling his phone out, he sat on the edge of the tub and made a call to Tanner.
"I need you to look into someone for me," Q said quietly, keeping his voice soft so Bond wouldn't hear. "Valentin Zukovsky, Russian. I just want you to run a search, see if you can find out what he's been up to recently- Oh, and if you can, perhaps then send me a list of any and all run ins he's had with Double-o Seven. ...No, nothing's wrong. I just thought I spotted him on the underground, I was wondering what he might be doing in London. ...No, of course, if something was wrong I'd let M know. I'm sure it's nothing."
Re: Wednesday Night
Bond opened the wine, a lovely chilled white Riesling, and came back with two glasses and the bottle. He put it all down and began to undress.
"Calling Moneypenny?" he asked. "Tell her we're safe and sound?"
Re: Wednesday Night
Re: Wednesday Night
"They're sniffing around. Titania immediately found the food, Oberon the litter pan. But now they're both exploring," he said as he began to undress for the bath.

Re: Wednesday Night
Q didn't do a particularly good job at it and Bond could sympathize.
"Everything is locked, doors and windows. And there's an alarm system that you can change to your own number so long as we change it back when we leave. We're safe here, Q," he promised as he laid his gun on the seat of the toilet in arm's reach.
Re: Wednesday Night
"I just- I suppose I've not felt terribly safe lately," he admitted. "It feels like there's always something or someone after us. Like we're being worn down, bit by bit. How long before one of us breaks, Bond?"
Re: Wednesday Night
"Much longer than anyone might expect," Bond replied, his resolve as strong as ever. The biggest mistake anyone could make would be to come at him through Q. THe very thought made him murderous.
