Gathering Post : 2/24 - 3/2

"I am rather fetching," he replied without a hint of shame. Then he turned to look at Fin. "And you...you are a thing of beauty. You wear that suit well, dove."

"Do you think? I feel a bit... I don't know. Stuffy," Fin replied, looking unsure as he tugged at the jacket. "

"You look like a movie star. Ready for an awards ceremony," Willy replied. "One where you will win every award and have too many to carry home."

"I don't know about that, but... If you like the suit, I like the suit," Fin chuckled. "This must be the one."

"Those shoes won't go with it, though. Put the cordovan back and let's go find a nice black," he replied. Willy knew quite an astonishing amount about fashion for a creature who lived in black jeans and band shirts.

"Let's get changed out of these suits and then I promise you can pick my shoes," Fin laughed, smiling brightly at the fae. "Maybe I'll even let you buy me dinner as well," he teased.

"I would be honoured to buy you dinner and then take you home an get you out of all your finery," Willy flirted.

"Not wearing the suit home, Will. You'll have to settle for stripping me out of my ratty t-shirt," Fin grinned, pushing up onto his toes to give the fae a quick kiss.

"Come on, let's get changed, find me some shoes, then pay. Then we can move onto something much more fun."

"'Tis a pity. You look very good in the suit," Willy replied warmly.

Shortly after they were in their own clothes and laden with shopping bags.

"We will go home and drop these off. Where would you like to dine?"

"Do you fancy sushi maybe?" Fin suggested, hooking his free arm through Willy's as they walked. "I'm not bothered, so it's wherever you'd like to go, love."

Sushi was something they could always agree on because Will wouldn't eat meat and he could get plenty of vegetarian options with sushi. It was something they could do together and enjoy and Will always had a nice time watching Fin enjoy his food.

"Sushi sounds delightful," he replied, gently putting an arm around Fin's waist.

"I love when we get to dine out together," Fin confessed. "I like showing you off. Is that shallow of me?" he asked.

"You like showing me off?" Willy chuckled. "Am I such a gem?"

"Of course you are, don't be coy, you know you're precious, Will- And gorgeous. I'm certain you don't need to hear it from the likes of me," Fin chuckled.

"I need to hear it from your lips all the time," Willy replied, pulling Fin a bit closer. "But I believe you are the more attractive of the two of us. At least, I think so."

"You need your eyes testing, love. Trust me, you're stunning. You're ethereal, larger than life," Fin said, smiling warmly.

"Then clearly we are the most beautiful people in all of London," Willy smiled brightly. "It is a surprise more people are not in awe of us."

THat was, of course, Willy's magic. Just enough of a glamour to protect them from anything like what had happened to Fin before. It was the only way he could protect him.

Fin laughed brightly, holding Will tighter and sighing contently. "Come on, let's get a cab home. Then dinner, then... What do you you fancy? A film? A walk in the park? What would make tonight perfect for you, Will?"

"A walk in the park," he replied with a nod. "Spring is coming, I can smell it in the air. This is my favourite time of year. After sushi we will walk and talk and then I will take you home and kiss you to sleep."

"Sounds lovely," Fin smiled. "Sounds like a perfect night, Will."

At the curb Willy raised his hand to hail a cab, the more palatable option between walking all the way home, having a ride, or taking the train- which was the worst thing Will could imagine.

In the cab he put all the shopping to one side so he could sit close to Fin.

"I have had a lovely day shopping with you," he said happily.

"It's always lovely when we get to spend the day together," Fin smiled, settling against the fae and letting out a content sigh. "I don't think I tell you nearly enough, how you're the best thing that's ever happened to me, Will."

"What a lovely thing to hear. Doubly so because the same is true about you. In all my many years, you are by far the best thing to ever come to me," he replied softly, nuzzling his nose into Fin's hair. Willy was growing accustom to the fact that Fin no longer had a scent, yet he did...he picked up the perfume of the world around him and so he smelled of shampoo and the sizing used on new clothes and chocolate and cinnamon and coffee. Willy even caught the scent of himself on Fin's skin and it only made the man all the more attractive to him.

Fin giggled, soft and light as he turned his head and caught Will's lips in a kiss. Oh, he could kiss the fae all day, he was sure of it. He'd kiss Will until his lips were chapped and his throat was dry. He'd live off the taste of his lover's tongue.

But kissing could only last so long, and this round was cut off by their driver who'd gotten them home in record time.

Willy paid, giving the cabbie nearly half the fare in tip. Money had little meaning to him, always able to create it when he needed it. But Will was quite aware that a heavy tip could change the entire outlook of a day for someone who worked hard and often dealt with belligerent people. He was always good to those who worked for a living.

"Do you want to wear our new clothes to dinner?" he asked on the way up.
