Winter's eyes went slightly wide, and he let out a soft peep as he shook his head.

"I didn't glow. There was no glowing. ...That would be bad, and I can't be in trouble again," the pixie said, looking a bit panicked and tensing as if he was getting ready to run off.

"Sweetheart, no one's going to get in trouble." Angelique took a half-step closer, but didn't move to touch him. The poor thing looked ready to bolt, and she didn't want to make him feel more afraid. "I'm excellent at secrets. Not a word passes my lips. All right?"

Winter looked unsure, letting out a soft coo.

"Okay," he nodded, fidgeting a little, but appearing to calm down.

Angelique wasn't certain just what she was keeping secret, but at least it had reassured him. Anything she thought she had seen must have been a trick of the blend of lighting effects at the various shows. They made everyone look unearthly.

"Well, if you don't think you'll be too warm in that darling jumper, shall we try to find some of that thumpy music?" she suggested.

Winter beamed, peeling off his teddy jumper and knotting it around his waist, revealing a loose vest beneath it that read 'in pizza we crust'.

"Yes! Thumpy music, that sounds like a very good plan."

Angelique tried to bite back a laugh at the sight of the second top and did not quite manage it. Of course he was wearing a second shirt extolling a love of pizza. Of course he was. "Come along, then," she laughed, and offered Winter her hand.

Peeping happily, Winter gladly took the offered hand, following her in search of music he could really dance to. Eager to have his first good night out since... Well, since the thing had happened.
