(Rather than write the same vaguedrivel, here is a pretty gif to inspire you, a link to the weather for the week, and a link to londonist, a great resource for all things London related. As always this post is open all week. Tag in, tag others, check back often!)
Davey grinned at that and gave a nod. He had time to kill. Having his own
taxi meant if he wanted to take a night off he was only shorting his own
pocket. And to him the opportunity to shag a fine bird like Dutch far
outweighed the few quid he'd make otherwise.
"I'll take you up on that," he replied, turning the corner to her street.
He found parking in front of her place marked for pick up and drop off. It
was so good he had a taxi and could take advantage of the opportunity.
Dutch grinned at him in the rearview mirror, and took another drag off her cigarette once he was parked, sitting forward on the edge of the backseat to lean against the front passenger seat, angled towards him, as she pulled a crumpled tenner out of her pocket for the fare. "Here."
Davey took the money and tucked it away. No change, he never gave change
unless someone demanded it. He did, however, shut the engine off and twist
to look at her proper like.
"I'm sure you've got just what I like best," he said. He got out of the cab
and once she was out, too, he locked the doors. Never one to be shy, Davey
found the curve of her waist and offered up his most charming smile. He
waited a heartbeat, then another, then he dipped down to kiss her...just in
case she had mistaken his intentions.
Definitely serious, then - both of them, it turned out. Dutch responded to the kiss as much from drunken instinct as from... well, a drunken choice. She knew she shouldn't be, because of Em, but what she didn't know couldn't hurt her, and Dutch really wanted to. She'd been so good for so long, and she needed to be a little bad, needed to - as he'd put it - cut loose tonight. She deepened the kiss, turning into D, and raised a now cigarette-free hand to cup his cheek.
The kiss broke after a few long seconds, and she smiled at him. "Let's get inside."
