Be Mine - Valentine's Day 2017
Lucky in love or not, London was a lovely place to find yourself on Valentine's Day. From romantic walks through various parks, to intimate dinners or shared deserts in the many restaurants and cafe's- There was something for everyone, because if wandering or dining wasn't for you, well, there were plenty of organised events to attend.
London couldn't claim to be the city of love, but it was certainly a city of possibilities.

The food was quite delicious, each course just barely enough to sate the palate while leaving them wanting for the next course. Bond drank a glass of champagne through the first and second courses, then poured himself a new glass, offering to refill Q's.
"I'm not usually a fan of pink champagne but this goes quite well with the food, don't you think?" he asked, his tone pleasant and low...though the look in his eyes seemed as if he'd like to devour Q for the third dish.

Q wasn't terribly interested in fine dining or wine, but he did enjoy how into it Bond got. It was obvious the man lived for the finer things, and Q was happy to indulge him.
"It's lovely," the quartermaster assured him, his smile warm and soft. Honestly, they could have been at Burger King, and he'd have been perfectly happy so long as Bond kept looking at him that way.

Bond's gaze focused in on Q's mouth and he couldn't look away. That voice, that tone, and knowing the things he might hear later had him fidgeting in his seat just a little.
"This meal is it's own sort of torture for me, I think," he said placidly as he sipped his champagne.

"You picked it," Q chuckled. "Honestly, Bond, you could have brought me a cup of tea and dragged me to bed and I'd have swooned just as hard."
no subject
"I'm making you swoon?" Bond grinned. The waiter brought new plates and he took a bit of pate on his fork to offer Q a taste.
"I'm sure I'll drag you to bed sooner rather than later..."
no subject
"Oh? We're quite far from it at the moment," Q pointed out, before smiling and leaning in to take the offered bite.

"You think you're so strict with me," Bond smirked, but like any well trained dog he kept at Q's heel, feeding him bits and filling his glass, never stepping out of bounds or growing impatient. Part of him wanted to, wanted so badly to be impatient. Impatient enough to drag Q to the loo or to the car, but that was so pedestrian. The other man deserved to be truly wooed tonight.
He flirted and made light conversation laced with innuendo through the whole meal. Finally he was rewarded with a lovely dessert, just one for them to share.
"I'm not sure I can eat anymore," he chuckled.

Honestly, he'd eat every last bit himself if it meant making James wait a little longer. He really did get off on winding up the double-o.

Bond groaned softly then sighed, but took his dessert fork and cut a bit of the chocolate heart that was filled with a delightful jelly. It really was quite delicious and rather decadent.
"Nibble," he repeated, his eyes locked on Q, studying his every move. All through dinner Bond had grown more and more tense. Now, watching Q take a sweet bite, he looked like he was about to pounce.

"Detour to where?" he asked, just a bit of impatient desperation creeping into the question.
no subject
"Oh, I don't know- Past the Thames, perhaps? We could admire the waters, maybe see if we can get on the eye?" He grinned then, fighting back a laugh.
no subject
"Are you serious?" Bond asked dryly. He would, of course, if Q wanted to. Make a night of romance and all, but he was sure he'd be mad with need if they didn't get home soon.
no subject
"Unless you can think of a better way to spend the night," Q replied innocently.
no subject
"We could take the chunnel and watch the dawn in Paris," he suggested. "Or, a more favorable idea, we could go home and I could make you forget all about the Thames and the Eye and London in general."
no subject
He wet his lips, then leaned over the table just a bit as he whispered. "Or are you trying to sell me on the idea that your cock has the power to dampen a mind as sharp as mine, double-o seven?"
no subject
"That," he said, leaning forward and lowering his voice, "...is exactly what I'm suggesting. Don't underestimate me, Q. I could make you forget most anythig given time and proper execution."

"Do you have something in mind?" he asked, lifting his glass again.

"When you set the stakes that high you must know I'll win," he smirked. He drained his glass and then nodded toward the door. "Shall we see just how well I can put my back into it?"
no subject
Q laughed, a bright and unexpected sound in the otherwise quiet restaurant, and he covered his mouth to quiet himself as he nodded.

Bond dabbed his mouth with the linen tablecloth, then got up and smoothed his suit. The maitre'd saw him rise and came over. Bond passed him a card to pay for the meal. Another server brought them their coats and by the time they were on their way out all Bond had to do was sign his name and take the card.
The car was waiting for them as they left the building.
"I'll take a route near the river since you're keen to see the water," he said.

"I went into the Thames once and had to have an entire regimen of inoculations," Bond commented once he was behind the wheel. He strapped in and took off for home.
"Tell me about where we're going on holiday," he asked, trying to keep his mind off the deep need he had to have Q bare against him.
