Saturnalia GP!

It was a good night at Saturnalia.

There was some b-list American rapper-slash-DJ who had shown up earlier in the day, and Robin was happy to throw someone on stage. It had gone over well right away, so he'd let him stay on. And now it was well into the evening and things were, as Robin understood the current vernacular to be, turnt.

In fact, at some point he'd thrown open all the windows so that the music blasted onto the street, and instructed the bouncers to let in whoever wanted in. He'd also instructed the bartenders to serve all the beer half price. The resulting crowd and frenzy was really something else.

Robin sometimes wondered whether things had changed between them somehow. This affection. Maybe Anael was right. Maybe... well, it didn't matter what they called it.

But then he would remember when Prometheus had returned the time before. How he'd been so cold. And he'd remember that this Prometheus was here on borrowed time.

He opened the door to his office and led them inside. Then he perched on the edge of his desk and said, "Watch out," before popping the cork on the bottle.

Sinking into the first seat he found, Prometheus unbuttoned the top buttons of his shirt and rolled up his sleeves as he settled in.

"I trust your aim."

The cork flew across the room and hit the wall, but the champagne only dribbled out. Robin smiled, and poured two glasses, then handed one to Prometheus.

"Tell me how you like it."

Reaching, Prometheus accepted the flute and took a sip. He seemed to think about it for a moment, then smiled and nodded.

"It's lovely," he smiled. "Thank you."

Robin drank, and then put down the glass. Then he climbed onto Prometheus' lap, straddling his hips.

"It is quieter in here," he conceded.

"Oh? For how long, hmm?" he asked, playfully lifting his hips just once. "I can't believe you like all that noise out there. ...Well, I suppose I can believe it, it's very you, hmm?"

"Noise? Yes, I suppose it is." Robin grinned down at him. "Want to make me make some?"

"I just got my drink!" the titan laughed, slipping his free arm around Robin.

[goodfellow]

"I didn't say you had to put down your drink," Robin said, and leaned in to nuzzle his neck. He rolled his hips.

[pecked_by_birds]

The titan laughed, a warm and rich sound. "I do admire how eager you can be, Robin. There's no rush though, I've no plans tonight but you."

[goodfellow]

"Yes, you do know precisely how eager I can be, and you like me anyway," Robin purred. "And of course, what better plans could you possibly have? There's nothing better to do than me."

"Mmm," the titan hummed, sipping his drink and rubbing Rob's back with his free hand.

"I like you for far more reasons than just that."

[goodfellow]

"Oh do tell," Robin purred, glad that he'd already lost his shirt since he enjoyed the touch to his bare skin.

[pecked_by_birds]

"Oh, I better not. You don't really like it when I get sentimental," the titan replied, and though he was smiling, there was a sadness there.

Robin winced, almost imperceptively. He thought of his fight with Anael, when he insisted he didn't love, didn't want to hear about it.

"I'm more forgiving of it from you than anyone else," he confessed, and kissed his forehead.

"Such a generous puck," the titan smiled, letting the tips of his fingers dance up Robin's spine as he leaned in and pressed a kiss to his shoulder.

"You're going to leave again," Robin said quietly after a moment.

[pecked_by_birds]

"Probably," the titan agreed, not about to lie to Robin about something that felt inevitable. "I'm here now though. I want to be here. ...I don't mean to leave you."

[goodfellow]

That was the best he could hope to hear, Robin guessed. It wasn't as if he wanted lies.

He hesitated visibly. Then he said, "What if... you lived with me while you're here."

"Would you really want that? I wouldn't want to be in your way or spoil your fun," the titan replied softly. "I never want to get in the way of you living the life you love."

[goodfellow]

"I can fuck strangers wherever I want," Robin said bluntly. "It doesn't have to be at my house. I just - it would be nice to see you more often."

[pecked_by_birds]

"Alright," he said softly, rubbing the small of his back. "If that's what you'd like, I'll stay with you. ...I'd like to keep my flat though, if only as a place to paint."

[goodfellow]

"Really? You want to?" Robin looked surprised. He wasn't sure what he'd expected. He also realized that his pulse had sped up.

"I - yes. Of course. I don't want paint on my wood floors, after all."

"If you're certain I'll not be in your way and you want me there, yes. I'd enjoy staying with you, Robin. It would be nice to spend more time with you," Prometheus assured him.

[goodfellow]

"I'll have a key made for you tomorrow," said Robin. And then slid both hands onto his face and kissed him. Soft at first, but then with increasing heat.
