Saturnalia GP!

It was a good night at Saturnalia.

There was some b-list American rapper-slash-DJ who had shown up earlier in the day, and Robin was happy to throw someone on stage. It had gone over well right away, so he'd let him stay on. And now it was well into the evening and things were, as Robin understood the current vernacular to be, turnt.

In fact, at some point he'd thrown open all the windows so that the music blasted onto the street, and instructed the bouncers to let in whoever wanted in. He'd also instructed the bartenders to serve all the beer half price. The resulting crowd and frenzy was really something else.

"I know," Robin said. "That's not what I'm afraid of." Though he wouldn't deny there was a looming sense of going against his nature, or something.

He stepped back. "That one's good," he said, and pointed to a bottle.

"Then that's what we'll have," Prometheus replied, plucking the bottle off the shelf.

Turning to face Rob, he offered a smile. "Come on, pet, no overthinking tonight, alright? We don't have to talk about this anymore if you want to stop. How about sharing some gossip instead, hmm? You always seem to know the most interesting things about people."

"Gossip..." Robin considered this for a moment. Something that might actually amuse Prometheus.

"Well I recently caught a wizard and two secrets agents breaking into the club."

[pecked_by_birds]

"Such a popular puck," the titan teased with a grin, grabbing two glasses before uncorking the wine.

[goodfellow]

Robin shrugged, though no denying he looked a little amused and pleased with himself. "I have all kinds of friends," he said. "Though only a certain subset of them enjoy breaking and entering."

[pecked_by_birds]

"So long as the people breaking in aren't too dangerous," Prometheus said, pouring them each a glass. Robin could take care of himself, yes, but that didn't mean the titan wanted to see him in trouble.

"I think they're all very dangerous," Robin said. "Just not to me specifically. Good people to have on my side, probably. But the point is well taken. I haven't survived this long by being careless with who I trust."

[pecked_by_birds]

"No, I suppose not," Prometheus agreed, frowning thoughtfully, then taking one of the glasses and sipping thoughtfully.

"I just- Worry."

[goodfellow]

"You worry about me?" Robin said, sounding almost surprised. Not that Prometheus would care, but that he would actively worry. Robin hardly even worried about himself anymore.

[pecked_by_birds]

"I worry about everyone," the titan replied. "But yes, on a more focused level, I worry about you, specifically."

Robin wasn't entirely certain how to respond... and then he didn't have to, because there was a knock at the door.

He left Prometheus there and went to get the bags of food from the delivery guy who glanced around the apartment looking impressed before Robin closed the door on him.

"Hungry?" he asked, turning around and grinning at Prometheus.

"Famished," the titan purred, letting the topic be since Robin seemed keen to drop it.
