Gathering Post
The best thing about London was that there was always something to do, no matter what your interests were. This weekend there was a jazz festival in Bloomsbury, an ale festival that would take you through a drunken train tour of the city, an African culture festival near Covent Garden, and several movie screenings, parties, and other pockets of fun.
Tourists were flooding in from all over, and many Londoners were slipping off to, or coming back from, their latest trips to Barcelona, Paris, or Ibiza. The weather was warm, and it had been fairly dry and sunny lately- Really, it was the perfect place to be right now. ...At least that's what anyone who wasn't heading off to some tropical wonderland would tell you at least.
As day faded into evening, bars came alive and shop windows lit up, inviting in tourists and locals alike. The city buzzed well into the night, calming only briefly in the morning, before bursting back into life again.
(Have your pup be anywhere in the city you like. This GP is intended to take place over the course of Sat and Sun, but will be open all week long! Remember to add your pup's tag after you tag in!)

"Whatever, man. You want to go get something to eat?"

"Let's just go home and order pizza or something, or back to the hub- Wherever. I don't feel like dealing with a crowd," Logan said, slumping against Jack a bit as they walked towards the rig.

Or something with Jack tended o mean getting naked but he could see Logan was a bit down and he wasn't going to push anything on him.

"Is something wrong?" he asked gently.

"I just- I dunno. I guess I just sometimes feel like I don't fit in here. I have all these memories of all these places, and nothing feels right, you know? I keep trying to fit in, to watch boring soccer games, and read whatever books everyone's reading, but- God, it's all so boring. Aren't you bored?" he asked, turning his head to look at the other man finally.
"All the things we've seen- Aren't you bored, Jack?"

"So let's do something about it," Logan sighed. "Let's do something stupid. Let's- I don't know. Something. Anything."

"I remember," he said quietly, chastened. It took a moment for him to speak again. "I...do know where Torchwood keeps ships..."
no subject
"how pissed would they be if you took one though?" Logan replied, sighing a bit. "...Forget it, it's not worth the trouble, right?"

"...Can we take the pizza with us? I really am hungry," he said finally.

"Alright," Logan agreed, nodding and seeming a bit less sullen.

"You go in, get whatever. I'm going to hop in the back seat and get things in order."
He sounded so professional but in truth this was a heist. Outright stealing. He had no right to 'requisition' a ship and if they did get caught Torchwood was unforgiving. Which was exactly why Jack was so excited to do it.

He returned fifteen minutes later with a large pizza box and two bottles of Orangina, climbing into the back with Jack he passed the other man one of the glass bottles as he popped open the box and grabbed a slice.
no subject
He took a slice.
"Stealing it is the easy part. Learning to fly it is going to be the challenge," he grinned.
no subject
"I dunno if I remember how to fly, Jack. that might have to be all you."
no subject
"Let's get going. We'll be out before zero hour nine am."

A small part of him felt guilty- Like he was pushing Jack to do something he knew he shouldn't. ...The rest of him, however, was just itching for a thrill.
