Felix had seen the evidence of Anael's true self during a time he preferred to keep secret from Shannon, and explaining how he'd seen the angel's wings would have opened up too many questions he'd rather not answer. "Well, your secrets are your own to share, darling, not mine. I'll remember to call you Hani should we meet you together."
Felix cast a speculative look at Anael. "Your empathy. Do you feel everything, passive, or is it directed at specific people and emotions?" Perhaps Anael had not explained his abilities in so much detail, but Felix wasn't completely oblivious to how the other man responded to feelings.
