The Phouka looked to Hex who gave him a nod and jutted his chin toward the door, signalling the creature could go. The Phouka bowed his head and silently left the room.
"It's alright, Danny. It'll be alright," he said quietly, bringing Danny's hand to his cheek and closing his eyes so he didn't cry as well.
