Dutch liked this café. It had everything you wanted in a hackplace. Free wifi, comfortable armchairs, and nobody came to bother you when you were bent over your laptop. The music playing was a bit shite, but that was what earplugs were meant for, and the Bus Station Loonies were blaring into her ears as she worked.
She smiled with satisfaction as she finally got through the firewall, and quickly transferred the files onto her flashdrive. Now, that was a job well done. Once the transfer was complete, she pocketed the USB key and closed her laptop, putting it away in her messenger bag with the earplugs.
She reached for her forgotten iced coffee and took a sip, scanning the crowd around and finding somebody watching her from the next table over. She raised her eyebrows inquiringly as she met their gaze.
