Danny hadn't really been sure he wanted to come to a party where everyone was likely to be a stranger- But Hex had been insistent, and so Danny had agreed.
The food was lovely, the music not bad, but Danny struggled to feel at ease when some people were giving him curious or judgemental looks. The public were forgetting him, but he wasn't completely forgotten yet.
So when he spotted Hani, he couldn't help but make his way over, wanting the company of a familiar face.
"Didn't expect to run into you here," he said softly.
