Gathering Post - Christmas Eve Party

Merry Christmas!

You are invited to celebrate the season with Finlay Flynn and Willy Silver.

 

When: Christmas Eve (5pm – Midnight)

Where: Making the Modern World - The Science Museum

Upon entry you'll be given a ticket for one free drink. All drinks after that are 5 each. There will also be a free buffet in the dining area.

 

Dress code: Casual, but tidy please!

 

Raffle: Come wearing a festive sweater and you will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a 65 inch TV.

 

Donate: Bring three tins of canned food to be donated to the local food bank, and receive an extra drink ticket.

Look forward to: A live DJ, live music, an appearance by Santa, gift bags with deluxe swag, and the company of old and new friends!

 

(OTA! Happy holidays! If you know Fin, Willy, Phouka, or Winter, feel free to assume they gave you an invite. If not, you can say your pup got an invite through a friend of a friend, someone who knows someone, ect. It IS invite over (no gate crashing pups please, Fin's a giver and would want everyone to feel included), but the pups hosting the party are pretty active and I believe they know almost everyone in the game. And the people they don't know surely know people who do. Even if you only met them once, you got an invite somehow! This gathering post is open all week, and beyond!)

"No, seriously, the puppy eyes aren't fair," Jag laughed, and drained the last of his beer to abandon his glass on the nearest table. And give in, obviously. That look was just not fair.

Fin beamed, pleased to have won, and knocked back his own drink before catching both of Jag's hands with his own.

"Playing fair's overrated. Come on, I love this one!" he smiled as Wizzard's 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' came on.

"I can't believe you're making me dance to a cheesy Christmas song," Jag laughed as he followed along.

"It's Christmas, you need cheese on Christmas," Fin smiled brightly.

"Apparently I need to dance to cheese on Christmas," Jag replied, grinning, as they reached the dancefloor.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Absolutely," Fin smiled, starting to dance the moment they were on the floor, without a care in the world.

Jag laughed, and then thought, 'Fuck it,' and joined him with the same carefree spirit. And a lot of white boy moves, to be perfect honest.

It felt good to let loose and just have fun, and Fin didn't stop dancing until the song came to an end, laughing and smiling even then.

"Brilliant," he laughed.

"Something like that," Jag agreed, although his grin said he agreed. "More beer. I need more beer."

"Alright, alright," Fin agreed with a smile. "Oh! Have you met my Will yet?" he asked. "You should say hello. I think he'd love to meet you."

"You'll have to point him out to me," Jag told him. "Unless it's obvious who he is?" Because, well, fae. The Phouka hadn't been that obvious, but then again he had been, once Jag had been paying close enough attention. And he'd grinned.

"He's the rather tall bloke over there with the massive hair," Fin chuckled, pointing at his love with a smile.

"Oh, wow, he's hot," Jag stated very honestly, and chuckled. And then he frowned as a thought hit, and turned back to Fin. "All right, this might sound odd but - are all fae Black?"

"Some fae aren't even human shaped," Fin replied with a laugh. "And, um, Will's only very recently, um- Black," he added awkwardly, speaking quietly. "It's a glamour. He's worried about being recognized after being in London as long as he has been. ...He is hot though. He was quite a looker before too."

"Wow," Jag very eloquently replied, blinking a few times. "Does it drop it when it's just the two of you, then?" It would be so odd, suddenly shagging someone in a different form.

"Nah, that's how he always looks now," Fin shrugged. "It was weird at first, but- It's him, you know? He touches me, and it feels like it always was. Now it's like he's always been this way."

Jag was smiling at his friend, clearly in awe of him. "That's... amazing."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"He's... He's remarkable," Fin said, nothing but love in his voice as he spoke of the fae. "He's the best thing that ever happened to me."

"Oh, shit, just give us a hug, yeah?" Jag stated, moving in to do just that.

Fin smiled, then laughed, throwing his arms around Jag and embracing him tightly.

"Dance on, yeah? I'll either be by the bar, or the buffet," Jag told him with a grin, and rubbed a hand on his back before letting go.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Have a brilliant night, Jag, and a Happy Christmas," Fin smiled. "Hopefully I'll see you again before the night's over."
