Gathering Post - Christmas Eve Party

Merry Christmas!

You are invited to celebrate the season with Finlay Flynn and Willy Silver.

 

When: Christmas Eve (5pm – Midnight)

Where: Making the Modern World - The Science Museum

Upon entry you'll be given a ticket for one free drink. All drinks after that are 5 each. There will also be a free buffet in the dining area.

 

Dress code: Casual, but tidy please!

 

Raffle: Come wearing a festive sweater and you will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a 65 inch TV.

 

Donate: Bring three tins of canned food to be donated to the local food bank, and receive an extra drink ticket.

Look forward to: A live DJ, live music, an appearance by Santa, gift bags with deluxe swag, and the company of old and new friends!

 

(OTA! Happy holidays! If you know Fin, Willy, Phouka, or Winter, feel free to assume they gave you an invite. If not, you can say your pup got an invite through a friend of a friend, someone who knows someone, ect. It IS invite over (no gate crashing pups please, Fin's a giver and would want everyone to feel included), but the pups hosting the party are pretty active and I believe they know almost everyone in the game. And the people they don't know surely know people who do. Even if you only met them once, you got an invite somehow! This gathering post is open all week, and beyond!)

"What an awful thing to think of. Bees?" he asked as he watched Winter dance.

[winter_wisp]

"But bees are lovely," Winter said, turning and wiggling his bum at the Phouka then beginning to grind against him, getting lost in the music and oblivious to any looks he might have caught.

[phouka]

Winter's movements were unlike anything he'd ever seen or done. He stood stock still and a look of confusion settled on his brow as he looked down at the pixie.

"What are you doing?" he finally asked.

[winter_wisp]

"Getting low, obviously," Winter replied, practically twerking at one point as he mimicked the way mortals fluttered and bounced about in clubs and in music videos.

[phouka]

"You look like you're having a fit," the Phouka replied. "I do not even know how one would move like that. How low do you get when you wiggle your bum?"

[winter_wisp]

"Very low," Winter replied seriously. "As low as your body will take you. Like this. See? So low."

[phouka]

He did not understand this dance. It looked vaguely like Winter was trying to hump the air and it was more amusing than erotic. He cocked his head to the side and watched him curiously.

"And why do you want to get low?" he asked, standing quite still.

Winter paused then, looking puzzled.

"I don't know," he admitted. "It's fun though. I like it," he added with a cheeky grin.

[phouka]

"Show me again and I will try," he said, not entirely sure why he would want to gyrate and flail around like that but if Winter said it was fun he would try. Pixies always had the best sense of fun.

Winter grinned, starting again, wiggling suggestively and then slowing down with the music as he moved with the rhythm. It wasn't... Well, sexual, really. Though the pixie did have a surprisingly good sense of rhythm.

Phouka watched for another long moment and then he began to mimic Winter's grinding and squirming. He was quite good at the copy and he had a decent sense of rhythm, too.

"Do we dance together or do we dance at each other?" he asked.

[winter_wisp]

Winter shrugged, turning so his back was to the Phouka and attempting to dance against him.

"It's like this, I think. Which is odd. You'd think they'd want to look at one another- But it's all about bums. Wiggling bums everywhere."

[phouka]

And that was when Phouka understood. As Winter rubbed his bum against him he let out a choked grunt and reached to hold his hip.

"It is sex," he said. "It is sex standing up with all your clothes on."

[winter_wisp]

"If that is true, I have had sex with a good portion of London, and our television," Winter replied, turning to face the Phouka with a bright smile and a giggle.

[phouka]

"Very well, then...it is a pantomime," the Phouka replied, reaching to slip his arms around Winter's waist to hold him close. And to get him to stop dancing. "I do not think you have had sex with the telly," he laughed softly.

[winter_wisp]

"No, probably not," Winter agreed with a grin, settling against Phouka and letting out a content sigh.

[phouka]

Phouka began to move with the beat then, holding Winter close so they could actually dance together.

"You are having a fun time at the prince's party then?" he asked.

[winter_wisp]

"Yes. There are sweets and sound, and you- And that is all my heart needs tonight to be happy," Winter said softly.

[phouka]

"Oh, my favourite, you are so kind," Phouka replied, bending to kiss the pixie's forehead. "I need only you. I could live without food or music. Your laughter would be my music and your kisses would sustain me..."

[winter_wisp]

Winter went pink, but tried to play it cool.

"I am very wonderful I suppose."

[phouka]

"You are. You are quite wonderful," Phouka said, giving him a squeeze. "And you have put together a unique outfit tonight."

[winter_wisp]

"I like the snogging reindeer," Winter grinned. "They're in love."

[phouka]

"Are they? How do you know?" he asked, clearly amused by Winter's assessment.

[winter_wisp]

"Because they just are," Winter replied. "It's my jumper, I get to decide."

[phouka]

"Fair enough, my lovely little one. I will take that for an answer."

For his part he wore an emerald brocade waistcoat over a crisply pressed white shirt and black trousers. His hair was gathered back and tied with a matching green ribbon. He was quite understated...for him.
