His phone chose that moment to buzz, and he rolled his eyes as he pulled it from his pocket.
"So much for having an evening to myself," he sighed as he read the message, tapping out a reply and then tutting softly. "I'm afraid I've got to eat and run, but I meant what I said before, I'd really love to see your costume work."
Pulling out a business card and a pen, he turned it over and jotted down his mobile number, then held it out in offering. "I can't be sure when my scheduled will be clear, but feel free to text me sometime. Perhaps the stars will align and we'll find time to get together."
