"Uh." Bobby kept staring, at a loss for words for a few moments before shaking his head. "Sorry, it's just unexpected," he explained, summoning up a smile. "It looks good." And it did, just as it had the first time he'd seen Pyro wearing it. He almost expected John to start hurling insults--or flames. "So...what made you decide to do that?"

The question set John's teeth on edge a little - I did this and you don't even remember why? - but he swallowed down his disappointment without showing a sign of it. Hey, faking a smile and going along to get along was practically his strength these days.

"...When you were completely stoned on medication in the hospital, you told me you thought it had looked hot." John shrugged. "I wanted to do something special for you, because you've been...so focused on healthy lately."
