"Is there such thing as a cat that isn't shameless?" Sunny asked with a slight arch to her eyebrow. "It's their world, we just rent space in it. Every so often they deign to mark us with their scent and leave us dead things because we're so bad at killing our own food."

"Thankfully Oberon is too lazy to try and kill anything. Now our other cat, Titania, would kill something if anything made its way into the flat," Q chuckled.

"Tsk," Sunny scolded Oberon. "Your hunting ancestors would be so ashamed."

Oberon stretched, arching his back and yawning, before flopping onto his side and starting to wash his paws.

"Such a disappointment to your kind," Q tutted playfully.

Oberon had a belly full of fishes though, and simply started to rumble to himself.

Sunny just started rubbing Oberon's tummy.

"How long have you had him?"

"Oh, about three years now. He came with my flat, actually. The heartless bastards who lived there before me left him behind. Titania, however, is a more recent member of the family. My fiancée brought her home with him one day. He tries to act like he only tolerates them, but he adores them both really," Q smirked.

"I think the act was shattered when he brought home a second one," Sunny couldn't help observing, a little smile quirking up the corners of her mouth.
