Faizel didn't have many friends at all, let alone ones who might turn up
here. Still, he didn't want to say so, and he offered a weak smile as he
shrugged one shoulder and sipped his drink.
"It's not something I'm counting on, no," he said honestly. "Part of me
acknowledges I should be social though, and that's enough to compel me to
stay for now. ...Who knows, perhaps by the end of the night I'll have made
a new friend, and events like this won't be such a burden on my time."
