Be Mine - Valentine's Day 2017

Lucky in love or not, London was a lovely place to find yourself on Valentine's Day. From romantic walks through various parks, to intimate dinners or shared deserts in the many restaurants and cafe's- There was something for everyone, because if wandering or dining wasn't for you, well, there were plenty of organised events to attend.

London couldn't claim to be the city of love, but it was certainly a city of possibilities.

She flinched, sensing some sort of magic blooming in her body originating from where he touched her. But at the same time...did she really care? Rebecca felt confused about the whole ordeal, suddenly feeling as if she had just one too many drinks in her. "Playing cupid, then?" She shifted her weight from one foot to the other. "Do you need to read my palm or something?"

"Hmm, sssince you offered..." he hissed, sliding his fingers down her arm so he could take her hand and inspect her palm.

"Lonely thing," he said quietly. "You may need me more than you realize."

"It's not like I couldn't get a date on my own. If I wanted one," she sniffed defensively.

"But of course," he drawled. "Of course. But isn't it easier to, say, network? How else does one meet people who might interest them? In a bar? The laundromat? No, no. You turn to friends. You turn to professionals."

The way he almost crooned as he spoke was so hypnotic, so tempting. It all made such sense as he said it.
