Gathering Post - Christmas Eve Party

Merry Christmas!

You are invited to celebrate the season with Finlay Flynn and Willy Silver.

 

When: Christmas Eve (5pm – Midnight)

Where: Making the Modern World - The Science Museum

Upon entry you'll be given a ticket for one free drink. All drinks after that are 5 each. There will also be a free buffet in the dining area.

 

Dress code: Casual, but tidy please!

 

Raffle: Come wearing a festive sweater and you will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a 65 inch TV.

 

Donate: Bring three tins of canned food to be donated to the local food bank, and receive an extra drink ticket.

Look forward to: A live DJ, live music, an appearance by Santa, gift bags with deluxe swag, and the company of old and new friends!

 

(OTA! Happy holidays! If you know Fin, Willy, Phouka, or Winter, feel free to assume they gave you an invite. If not, you can say your pup got an invite through a friend of a friend, someone who knows someone, ect. It IS invite over (no gate crashing pups please, Fin's a giver and would want everyone to feel included), but the pups hosting the party are pretty active and I believe they know almost everyone in the game. And the people they don't know surely know people who do. Even if you only met them once, you got an invite somehow! This gathering post is open all week, and beyond!)

"It's wonderful," Fin beamed, slipping his arms around Will as they started to dance. "This was a brilliant idea, Will. Thank you for suggesting it."

[willysilver]

"You are most welcome," he replied, turning Fin around and around on the dance floor. The music was lovely, the whole atmosphere of the crowd was light and happy.

"We should host more parties," he said. "I can take care of the cost and such. I would love to do charitable parties. Did you see how many tins of food we have collected?"

"I have. Let's enjoy this one before we start planning the next though," Fin smiled. "Maybe we'll do one in the spring, hmm?"

[willysilver]

"One every season," he said happily. "I would suggest the solstices and equinoxes, but those are days I would be called to war if there is a battle. I would rather be free for a party and not off or recovering."

Fin's smile faded at the mention of battle, and he shook his head.

"I don't want you to go. I don't want you to fight," he said softly.

[willysilver]

"I do not want to think on it now. It will only make you upset," Willy replied. "Think only of happiness and Christmas and how pleased people will be when they find what I have had the Phouka doing."

"...Why? What's he doing?" Fin asked, sounding a tiny bit worried.

[willysilver]

"He is slipping hundred pound notes into pockets as he circulates around the party," he smiled. "It is Christmas luck and I do hope the money finds a few people who truly need it at this time of year."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Oh," Fin replied, looking relieved. "That's nice. That's good."

[willysilver]

"Did you think I would do something wicked?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with merriment.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"...Not intentionally. Probably," Fin smiled, giving a teasing wink.

[willysilver]

"Probably. Probably?" he teased, giving Fin a poke in the ribs right where he was the most ticklish. "I shall show you wicked," he laughed.

Fin giggled, nearly doubling over and smacking Willy's hand away. "Wicked pixie," he teased.

[willysilver]

Willy stood up to his full height and puffed out his chest.

"Do I look like a pixie to you?" he asked, almost not laughing.

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin pretended to think about it, humming a little.

"Well, I mean, you're just so petite..."

[willysilver]

"You terrible liar," Willy accused with a laugh following soon after. He grabbed hold of Fin and pulled him in, only to tickle his ribs again.

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin laughed loudly, trying to pull away but smiling brightly the whole time.

"Fine! Alright, you're not a pixie!" he laughed.

[willysilver]

"Very good," Willy said, ceasing the tickling and using both arms to pull Fin in. He ducked down so he could nuzzle the man's neck.

"I do love to hear you laugh and see you smile, my love. That is the greatest of gifts."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Not a gift, you can have that whenever you like," Fin smiled, embracing Willy in return and stealing a quick kiss.

[willysilver]

"I will take it. And I will cherish it," he smiled. "When we are done with the party do you want to go home? Or should we continue the night somewhere more intimate? We could go have a quiet drink," Will suggested.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I may have gone ahead and booked a hotel room a few months back, actually," Fin said sheepishly. "I thought it would be a romantic surprise- But we don't have to go. I booked it before we even planned the party."

[willysilver]

"That is a romantic surprise," Willy said. He reached up to smooth Fin's hair back from his face, tucking a long bit behind his ear. "You always think of the best things."

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin leaned into the touch, then looked a little bashful. "Not always- But I am glad you approve," he smiled.

[willysilver]

"You are so beautiful. I marvel at my luck of being in love with such a beautiful creature," he said softly. But a woman nearby heard and looked at the pair with an expression of fondness and romance at the sentiment.

"You're luck? What about mine, hmm?" Fin asked, touching Willy's hair lightly, so as not to make it go flat, then leaning in to kiss the tip of the fae's nose.
