Gathering Post - Christmas Eve Party

Merry Christmas!

You are invited to celebrate the season with Finlay Flynn and Willy Silver.

 

When: Christmas Eve (5pm – Midnight)

Where: Making the Modern World - The Science Museum

Upon entry you'll be given a ticket for one free drink. All drinks after that are 5 each. There will also be a free buffet in the dining area.

 

Dress code: Casual, but tidy please!

 

Raffle: Come wearing a festive sweater and you will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a 65 inch TV.

 

Donate: Bring three tins of canned food to be donated to the local food bank, and receive an extra drink ticket.

Look forward to: A live DJ, live music, an appearance by Santa, gift bags with deluxe swag, and the company of old and new friends!

 

(OTA! Happy holidays! If you know Fin, Willy, Phouka, or Winter, feel free to assume they gave you an invite. If not, you can say your pup got an invite through a friend of a friend, someone who knows someone, ect. It IS invite over (no gate crashing pups please, Fin's a giver and would want everyone to feel included), but the pups hosting the party are pretty active and I believe they know almost everyone in the game. And the people they don't know surely know people who do. Even if you only met them once, you got an invite somehow! This gathering post is open all week, and beyond!)

"I have been...but that's no excuse," he replied.

”I missed you," Spencer admitted. ”I really did.”

Hex leaned in and kissed him softly. "We're still mates, though, yeah?" he asked.

[dr_spencer_reid]

"I hope so, yeah," Spencer smiled, nodding a bit and blushing.

Hex pulled him closer in a warm embrace and rested his head on Spencer's shoulder. He could fall so easily for him. But there, in the other man's arms, his thoughts drifted to Danny.

He needed to figure out his feelings more now than ever.

"I nearly didn't come tonight," Spencer admitted. "I'm glad I did. ...I'm glad I got to see you."

"I'm glad you came, too," he replied. The music came to an end but Hex didn't notice because he had his eyes closed, lost in the comfort of being close to Spencer.

Spencer smiled, but he did eventually pull away, looking awkward and unsure of himself, but happy.

"I got you something for Christmas, actually. Though I didn't bring it here."

"I got you something too. Do you want to get together on Boxing Day to exchange them?" Hex asked with a shy smile. We could have lunch, take in a movie..."

"Okay," Spencer nodded. "Would you rather show me your videos then?" he asked.

[just_hex]

"Yeah. Yeah...want to come over to mine and we can watch on the telly?" he asked.

[dr_spencer_reid]

"That sounds like a nice way to spend the day," Spencer smiled. "What time should I come?"

"Ten. We can do brunch and open presents and spend the day together, yeah? Unless you've got other plans...or work?" Hex replied.

[dr_spencer_reid]

"No plans, no work," Spencer promised with a smile.

"Then we'll make a day of it. Make up for lost time," he said, pulling Spencer in close to embrace him.

"Yeah? Yeah, I'd like that," he smiled.

"Good. I'll look forward to it."

He hoped that Spencer wouldn't run away when he showed him the videos. Hopefully he'd come on Boxing Day with an open mind.

Leaning in, Spencer kissed Hex's cheek. "Me too."

Hex looked over and saw Stanley waving at him, and once he had his attention beckoning him over.

"Stanley's calling me over. I need to go. But I'll see you soon," he said, a shy smile curving his lips.

Spencer nodded in understanding, offering an awkward wave and then glancing around, unsure of who to talk to now Hex was leaving his side.
