Re: Saturday

"So, what in here has caught your eye?" he asked curiously. "The runes, the cards... Perhaps the garden gnome dressed like a wizard over there?"

Date: 2016-02-28 11:28 pm (UTC)"Fae aren't nearly so eager to learn. At least, not my kind," Yves admitted. "My desire for knowledge has always made me a bit of an outcast."
Though that wasn't the only reason his kind kept their distance.

Date: 2016-03-05 03:05 am (UTC)"At least some of you don't waste what time you have though. You learn, you want to explore and know things," Yves replied, speaking slowly, as though he was struggling with something. Though that struggle faded as he shook his head.

Date: 2016-03-05 04:33 am (UTC)Yves was silent for a beat, his expression hard to read as he forced his mind back through the conversation they'd been having, combing through the details. Though what he was searching for was something only he could know.
After a beat he smiled, then offered a small shrug. He seemed less looming now, nd no longer seemed to be attempting to enter her personal space, though his voice still returned to that low purr.

Date: 2016-03-06 03:46 am (UTC)"Much as I want to go look at Tarot decks, I think I'll have to pass on doing that today. If I have to talk to the nice lady, I don't know how polite I'll be able to be."
Re: Saturday
Date: 2016-03-06 04:57 am (UTC)"I have a few decks you could look at. I never use them- If one speaks to you, you could take it. They're only gathering dust right now," Yves offered. "We can talk magic and share a meal. I'll, I don't know, order a pizza? Students love pizza."

Date: 2016-03-06 03:03 pm (UTC)He paused a beat, then smiled faintly as he shrugged, unaware that another lock of hair had changed from white to dark brown. "As for pizza, I can enjoy the dish while not being fond of the word... Or the culture that's been oddly built around it."
