OTA: Robin in da club!

As much as Robin had enjoyed being in New York with Prometheus, he'd grown restless. And now that he was back in London, he realized how much this really did seem like his home now. He loved the city, he loved running the club. He even appreciated the friends that he had here, as much as he still attempted to keep them at arm's length.

Tonight, he made the rounds at Saturnalia dressed in an impeccable plum colored suit with a silver cashmere scarf hanging from his neck. He was already planning for a New Year's Eve party to celebrate the anniversary of that first "unofficial" opening of the club. Perhaps he could make it even better this time.

He was carrying a bottle of good champagne, still cold, and occasionally stopped those with empty glasses (of anything) and offered to refill them. Though now, he tipped his head back and poured some into his mouth before wiping it and looking pleased with himself.

Felix finished off the rest of his champagne, and his suspicious expression melted quickly into a smile like the sun rising. He placed his hand in Robin's. "I long for nothing more."

Robin put the champagne bottle on the ground and then pulled Felix out onto the dance floor. There was, coincidentally, a slow, sexy song playing, and Robin began to lead Felix into some semblance of a rumba. He was a good dancer.

Felix wasn't half bad, himself, even though the rumba wasn't one he knew well. Once he understood that Robin was leading, and stopped trying to lead himself, he relaxed into Robin's hold and glided through the steps. It was dark and they were close, and Felix draped an arm close around Robin's shoulders as they moved together. "You're good," he murmured, knowing that the words might be lost under the music, but Robin could read the shape of his lips and the confirmation of his touch.

"Yes," Robin agreed, his lips nearly against Felix's neck. He didn't often dance with men who were taller than him, but he still had no trouble leading.

Felix couldn't help smiling to himself; this was how he'd gotten in trouble the first time he'd met Robin. Things were different now, but dancing with the puck still felt like getting away with something he oughtn't be doing. Felix liked that feeling.

He kept just enough space between them for decency, but only barely. "So. Read any good books lately?" Felix asked, one side of his mouth curling in a taunting smile, voice sweetened with a breathless little laugh.

"No," Robin said. "They just don't make them like they used to." He dipped Felix, and when he brought him back up he closed that small distance that would have maintained decency.

Felix laughed softly to be dipped and tugged up again, but his laughter quieted to feel Robin pressed up against him. Lashes lowered, he gazed down into Robin's green eyes, very close now. "You like to get me in trouble," he accused breathlessly.

Robin looked right back at him, gaze locked tightly on Felix's. "I could not care less whether you get into trouble or not, pet," he said. "Shannon's pleasure or displeasure has no bearing on my desire for you."

Felix's flawlessly smooth expression caught for an instant, a bare widening of his eyes and twitch of his lips. He wanted to be wanted, and as more than just a challenge due to his relationship status and possessive boyfriend. "You mean you'd still want me even if I wasn't a challenge?" he asked, carefully arching one brow.

Robin wrinkled his nose. "As I said, I really don't give two fucks about Shannon."

He nearly said that Felix wasn't actually that much of a challenge, but realized in time that Felix might take that the wrong way.

"I don't want you to," Felix assured him, toying with Robin's shirt collar while they moved together. "I don't particularly want you thinking about anyone else when I'm right in front of you."

"You're the one who brought up that he might be watching," Robin pointed out, and offered him a hint of a pout. "How do I think I feel?"

[harrowgate]

"Sorely neglected? Deeply underappreciated?" Felix touched Robin's softened lower lip with a fingertip of the hand that wasn't draped around his shoulders. "Poor dear puck," he purred. "Let me get you alone some night soon and I'll make it all up to you."

Robin smiled at him. "I would take you alone, of course. Though if you'd like to be less alone, well. I was just imagining that perhaps you don't have anyone to go to the really fun clubs with."

[harrowgate]

Felix knew what he was suggesting, but he found he wanted to hear Robin say it more explicitly. Both fine brows lifted, delicately. "Dare I ask what a puck considers to be 'really fun'?" he inquired, then tilted his head as if to better hear his answer.

"One of us tied up and blindfolded with others watching?" Robin suggested innocently. "Last part optional. Actually there are a hundred variations, we just have to pick the right one."

[harrowgate]

Felix didn't bother to hide the pleasure in his smile. It wasn't the right time to encourage Robin to talk dirty to him, but this was a reasonable facsimile. "How delightful. We have similar ideas of fun."

Robin didn't ask which one of them Felix preferred to be tied up and blindfolded; he was perfectly happy to let him decide in the moment.

"Well then," he said. "I think that would be a lovely mutual gift this holiday season."

Deciding who would dominate was part of the entertainment, as far as Felix was concerned. He laughed at the suggestion, but it was a rich and breathless laugh, like a curl of fragrant smoke. "Perfection. Are you free on the solstice?"

"Sure, that could be arranged," Robin said, and leaned in close to Felix's ear. "Please tell me you'll be wracked with anticipation."

That wasn't the only emotion Felix might be feeling in the intervening days, but he closed his eyes briefly and smiled. "I'll be hard-pressed to think of anything else," he purred in reply, choosing his words exactly.

"Can I kiss you or are you worried about who might be watching?" Robin asked softly in response to that.

Had it been anyone else, Felix might have liked to torment him about such a sweet little request... but the wizard knew that Robin was as likely to walk away as he was to play Felix's games. And he did like to be kissed. With a few in-tempo steps, he dragged them deeper into the shadows, and murmured with a satisfied smile, "You may."

Felix barely got the last syllable out before Robin's mouth was on his. It was not a sweet or little kiss.

"Mmm," Felix sighed, sliding one hand into Robin's thick curly hair and holding him there, twining his tongue with the puck's, tasting the champagne and dark promise of his mouth. Robin's kisses were delicious and complicated, and Felix surrendered himself to being lost in it for a time.
