Gathering Post - Christmas Eve Party

Merry Christmas!

You are invited to celebrate the season with Finlay Flynn and Willy Silver.

 

When: Christmas Eve (5pm – Midnight)

Where: Making the Modern World - The Science Museum

Upon entry you'll be given a ticket for one free drink. All drinks after that are 5 each. There will also be a free buffet in the dining area.

 

Dress code: Casual, but tidy please!

 

Raffle: Come wearing a festive sweater and you will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a 65 inch TV.

 

Donate: Bring three tins of canned food to be donated to the local food bank, and receive an extra drink ticket.

Look forward to: A live DJ, live music, an appearance by Santa, gift bags with deluxe swag, and the company of old and new friends!

 

(OTA! Happy holidays! If you know Fin, Willy, Phouka, or Winter, feel free to assume they gave you an invite. If not, you can say your pup got an invite through a friend of a friend, someone who knows someone, ect. It IS invite over (no gate crashing pups please, Fin's a giver and would want everyone to feel included), but the pups hosting the party are pretty active and I believe they know almost everyone in the game. And the people they don't know surely know people who do. Even if you only met them once, you got an invite somehow! This gathering post is open all week, and beyond!)

"Oh, um, maybe not at the party," Spencer suggested with an awkward laugh. "After? Um, unless you have plans..."

"We could go back to mine and pull it up on the telly," he suggested. "If you really want to. You don't have to, Spencer. I know it doesn't interest you."

"No, I'd like that," Spencer assured him. "I'd like to see what you do- And to learn more about, um- What you like."

"Alright. I'd really like that, Spencer. I've actually been nervous about telling you. I wasn't sure how you'd react," he admitted.

[dr_spencer_reid]

"Really? I didn't- I've never meant to come off as judgemental or anything like that," Spencer insisted.

"I just thought it didn't interest you. Not that you disapproved. Though...the killers you catch, you mentioned a lot of them are into bondage and sadism. But it's different. It really is. We'll watch the show and you'll see," he replied.

"I know," Spencer assured him. "I do. ...I am interested in seeing why it appeals to you though."

"I'll be happy to show you," he said as he tucked his phone away. "Would you like to dance?"

"I... Okay. I should warn you though, I'm not very, um, graceful," Spencer admitted with an awkward smile.

"We can dance close. You don't have to be graceful," Hex replied. "Just try not to step on me feet," he added with a flash of a smile.

Spencer looked unsure, but eventually smiled and nodded. "I'll try..."

Hex took pleasure in plling Spencer out of his comfort zone. He'd like to do it more but the man had been clear about his boundaries and Hex could only respect that. Boundaries were important in BDSM as in life and he would never do what wasn't welcomed.

Even if he wanted to.

On the dance floor he pulled Spencer close. The music at the moment was a Christmas tune played slow and bluesy. He could imagine Amy Winehouse crooning to it.

"You look nice tonight," he said softly.

"I'm wearing a Star Wars Christmas sweater," Spencer replied, because even he knew that wasn't a stylish look- Even if he liked it. "Thank you though- You look nice too. You always do though."

"I only wear this jumper two or three times a year. This year it's a bit snug. Me shoulders are bit more bulky than they've been. But now that I'm not training and I don't have to do any modeling I can go back to just being ordinary fit," he replied.

"I have no idea what the difference would be," Spencer admitted with a sheepish smile. "You look good though!" he added quickly.

Hex laughed softly. "You're sweet," he said. "The difference is muscle mass and definition. Body fat percentage. Things like that," he explained.

[dr_spencer_reid]

"That sounds like more work than I ever want to put into my body," Spencer said simply and honestly. "Do you know how many push ups I can do? It's a trick question, the answer's none."

"I can do...a lot," he replied, not wanting to make Spencer feel bad with an actual number. "It's alright, you know. That you can't. Don't. If it doesn't make you happy you shouldn't do it."

[dr_spencer_reid]

"I don't do it," Spencer assured him with a laugh and a smile.

[just_hex]

"We'll have to think of some other way to raise your heart rate, then," he said, shamelessly flirting.

The innuendo went over his head, but Spencer laughed and smiled anyway as they danced.

"You're not so bad at this," he said after a moment. "Maybe we should go dancing some time. Proper dancing, not at a club. Not that kind of dancing."

"I'd like that," Spencer smiled. "That would be fun. I'm not a great dancer, but I'd like to dance with you."

"I'd like it, too. I...I miss you when I don't see you. Have you still been going to meetings without me?" he asked. He felt bad for bailing on Spencer, but he'd seemed to be doing better and Hex had made training a priority. Maybe he shold have tried for more balance.

"I haven't," Spencer confessed. "I've been okay though..."
