OTA: Robin in da club!

As much as Robin had enjoyed being in New York with Prometheus, he'd grown restless. And now that he was back in London, he realized how much this really did seem like his home now. He loved the city, he loved running the club. He even appreciated the friends that he had here, as much as he still attempted to keep them at arm's length.

Tonight, he made the rounds at Saturnalia dressed in an impeccable plum colored suit with a silver cashmere scarf hanging from his neck. He was already planning for a New Year's Eve party to celebrate the anniversary of that first "unofficial" opening of the club. Perhaps he could make it even better this time.

He was carrying a bottle of good champagne, still cold, and occasionally stopped those with empty glasses (of anything) and offered to refill them. Though now, he tipped his head back and poured some into his mouth before wiping it and looking pleased with himself.

"Oh? I'm invited, I hope," Fin purred, rutting lightly against him as his hips swayed to the beat.

[goodfellow]

"VIP," Robin promised him in a purr. "I'll even let you dance on the stage if you like."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I don't think your guests have done anything to deserve that. My dancing skills are limited to light choreography, I assure you," Fin laughed, the sound bright and echoing.

"I'm desperate for a smoke," he added, leaning in to speak in the puck's ear. "Do you want to join me?"

[goodfellow]

"Sure," said Robin, and grabbed his hand again. "I'll even take you somewhere better than that grungy alley outside." He started leading Fin out of the crowd and in the direction of his office.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"You spoil me!" Fin said, shouting a little to be heard over the crowd as he held Rob's hand tight and followed along.

"I could use a break too," Robin admitted as he entered a code onto a keypad and a door opened at the top of some stairs to the office suite. He opened the door to his own (they'd been there before), then strode across the room to another set of double doors which led out onto a balcony.

Fin followed him out, grinning at the view and then casually leaning against the railing as he pulled out his cigarettes and lit one.

"It's a nice night out- Cold, but nice," Fin said, showing off just a smidge by using his magic to light his smoke.

Robin noticed that, but only smirked a little as he moved to put his hands on the railing and look out at the city. "It's beautiful," he said.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Did you miss it?" Fin asked. "...I'd miss it," he admitted, though he was looking at Rob now, rather than the view, admiring the puck.

[goodfellow]

"I did," Robin said, and turned a little, watching Fin watch him. He smiled. "Are you worried I might leave you again?"

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Not worried, no- Hopeful you'll stay a while, maybe," Fin replied honestly. "You're fun, and you're my friend, I like having you here. ...Besides, you've missed all sorts. I spent the better part of a day trapped in the body of a fox."

[goodfellow]

"I am fun," Robin agreed. "And how did you enjoy that? Being a fox?"

[prince_of_nymphs]

"It was fun at first, then frustrating- But I think I've got it mastered now. ...Do you want to see?" he asked.

[goodfellow]

Robin chuckled. "Yes, sure. I imagine you're a lovely fox, Fin."

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin grinned, clearly keen to show off, and he held out his cigarette in offering.

"Hold that?" he asked.

[goodfellow]

"Certainly," Robin said, and immediately put the cigarette to his lips to take a drag.

[prince_of_nymphs]

Taking a step back, Fin took a calming breath as he closed his eyes and focused.

It took a moment, but time seemed to slow for a beat as magic engulfed him and then faded away, revealing a small white fox. Fin wasn't sure if Rob would be able to hear him, but he thought as loudly as he could as he sat primly at the puck's feet.

See? Fox. Best fox.

"Oh, what a beautiful fox you are," Robin purred, and crouched down. He reached for the fox, to card his fingers through the white fur.

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin purred, a rumble of sound, leaning into the touch, and then moving away before shifting back into himself. He stumbled a little, clearly not used to it still, and looking just a bit more rumpled than he had before.

"Clever, isn't it?" he grinned.

[goodfellow]

Robin laughed fondly. "Yes. Yes, it is. Though I'm a bit disappointed you didn't have to get naked for it."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Wouldn't be terribly convenient if I had to be naked for it," Fin grinned.

[goodfellow]

"Is it convenient anyway, turning into a fox?" Robin asked. "It's not as if you can just do it on the street in front of a bunch of random people."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Well... Alright, perhaps not. It's cool though. I've found I quite like sleeping that way. It's oddly cozy," Fin admitted, aware that was a touch odd.

[goodfellow]

"And very soft," Robin pointed out. Then he moved closer and slid his fingers into Fin's hair. "What do you prefer, being petted as Fin or as a fox?"

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I imagine that depends on who's doing the stroking," Fin grinned, leaning into the touch and taking his cigarette back with a cheeky little smile.
